IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

Mr. Burr introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance


A BILL

To reduce and modify the temporary suspension of duty on Iprodione.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Iprodione.

(a) In general.—Heading 9902.01.51 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended—

(1) by striking the article description and inserting “Products containing Iprodione (3-(3,5-dicholorophenyl)-N-(1-methylethyl)-2,4-dioxo-1-imidazolidinecarboxamide) (CAS No. 36734–19–7) and application adjuvants (provided for in subheading 3808.92.15)”;

(2) by striking “2%” and inserting “2.4%”; and

(3) by striking the date in the effective period column and inserting “12/31/2011”.

(b) Effective date.—The amendment made by subsection (a) applies with respect to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after January 1, 2010.
