Mr. Nelson (for himself, Mr. Thune, Mrs. Feinstein, Mr. Rubio, Mr. Heinrich, Mr. Cruz, and Mr. Warner) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation


A BILL

To extend Government liability, subject to appropriation, for certain third-party claims arising from commercial space launches.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Launch liability extension.

Section 50915(f) of title 51, United States Code, is amended by striking “December 31, 2013” and inserting “December 31, 2016”.
