Stop Civil Asset Forfeiture Funding for Marijuana Suppression Act of 2015
This bill prohibits the Department of Justice Assets Forfeiture Fund from being used for the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA's) Domestic Cannabis Suppression/Eradication Program or any substantially similar program.
No property may be transferred to a federal or state and local agency for purposes pertaining to such a program.
The bill expresses the sense of Congress that the DEA's marijuana prohibition policy is an inappropriate use of resources.
