Introduced in Senate (04/28/2016)

This bill reauthorizes the Fisheries Restoration and Irrigation Mitigation Act through FY2024 to fund the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in carrying out projects in the Pacific Northwest. Projects under the Act are designed to: (1) decrease fish mortality associated with the withdrawal of water for irrigation and other purposes without impairing the continued withdrawal of water, and (2) decrease the incidence of juvenile and adult fish entering water supply systems.
