This bill requests the President and directs the Senate to transmit to the House of Representatives copies of all documents and communications that refer or relate to Executive Order 13792, dated April 26, 2017, which requires the Department of the Interior to review designations or expansions of certain national monuments under the Antiquities Act since 1996, including documents and communications related to:

  • review by Interior of all such designations or expansions,
  • Interior's review of such designations where Interior determined that the designation or expansion was made without adequate public outreach and coordination with the relevant stakeholders,
  • the interim and final reports to the President,
  • any meetings between the President and the Secretary of the Interior related to the recommendations or reports required by such executive order,
  • any meetings between the Secretary and energy and mining companies related to the recommendations or reports,
  • any meetings between the Secretary and LGBTQ and minority communities related to the recommendations or reports,
  • travel costs of the Secretary and his staff for purposes of the review,
  • any meetings between the Secretary and Native American tribes related to the recommendations or reports,
  • applicable ethics waivers granted or denied for Interior employees working on the review, and
  • economic analyses of national monument designations.
