Fallen Journalists Memorial Act
This bill authorizes the Fallen Journalists Memorial Foundation to establish a commemorative work on federal land in commemoration of America's commitment to a free press as represented by journalists who sacrificed their lives in service to that cause.
Federal funds may not be used to pay any expense for the establishment of the commemorative work.
The bill makes the Fallen Journalists Memorial Foundation solely responsible for acceptance of contributions and payment of the expenses for the establishment of the commemorative work.
