A BILL

To rescind the appropriation made to the Kennedy Center in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Rescinding appropriation for Kennedy Center in CARES Act.

(a) In general.—The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act is amended by striking the item relating to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

(b) Effective date.—Subsection (a) shall take effect as if included in the enactment of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.
