Stop Scam PACs Act

This bill prohibits individuals from misrepresenting their authority to speak, write, or otherwise act on behalf of a candidate or political committee, including a political committee of a political party, for the purposes of soliciting campaign contributions or donations. Currently, such prohibition is limited to fraudulent misrepresentations on behalf of candidates or political parties.
