Housing Security Act - Establishes in the Department of Housing and Urban Development an Office of Security which shall: (1) serve as a clearinghouse for information relating to the physical security of federally and related housing projects; and (2) make grants and enter into contracts with sponsors of federally related multifamily housing projects to finance planning and development of a security program for the project, including capital improvements and maintenance of a security force.
Authorizes such appropriations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of the Act.
