Introduced in Senate (11/13/1979)
Supports the actions taken by the President in attempting to secure the release of U.S. citizens in Iran. Condemns the actions of Iran.
Expresses the sense of Congress that the President should enlist international support in securing the release of such hostages by: (1) all nations withdrawing their diplomats from Iran; and (2) a world embargo on Iranian oil until Iran guarantees that all diplomats will be given immunity in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.
