Directs that the sorrow and regret felt by the Senate at the announcement of the death of the Honorable Leverett Saltonstall, late a Senator from Massachusetts, be communicated to the House of Representatives and the family of the deceased.

Directs the President of the Senate to appoint a committee to attend the funeral.

Declares that when the Senate recesses, it does so as a further mark of respect to the deceased.
