    ELECTION OF MEMBERS TO CERTAIN STANDING COMMITTEES OF THE HOUSE

  Mr. FAZIO of California. Mr. Speaker, by direction of the Democratic 
Caucus, I offer a privileged resolution (H. Res. 400) and ask for its 
immediate consideration.
  The Clerk read the resolution, as follows:

                          House Resolution 400

       Resolved, that the following named Members be, and that 
     they are hereby, elected to the following standing committees 
     of the House of Representatives:
       To the Committee on International Relations: Lois Capps of 
     California.
       To the Committee on Science: Lois Capps of California.
       To the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure: John 
     Baldacci of Maine; Marion Berry of Arkansas.

  The resolution was agreed to.
  A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
