  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the consideration of H.R. 3346.
  The PRESIDENT pro tempore. The clerk will report the bill by title.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 3346) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 
     1986 to simplify the reporting requirements relating to 
     higher education, tuition and related expenses.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
  Mr. REID. I ask unanimous consent that the bill be read a third time, 
passed, the motion to reconsider be laid upon the table, and any 
statements relating thereto be printed in the Record.
