                         DISCHARGED NOMINATIONS

  The Senate Committee on Foreign Relations was discharged from further 
consideration of the following nominations and the nominations were 
confirmed:

       David C. Mulford, of Illinois, to be Ambassador 
     Extraordinary and Plenipoltentiary of the United States of 
     America to India.
       James C. Oberwetter, of Texas, to be Ambassador 
     Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of 
     America to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

  The Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs was 
discharged from further consideration of the following nominations and 
the nominations were confirmed:

       Joseph Max Cleland, of Georgia, to be a Member of the Board 
     of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States 
     for a term expiring January 20, 2007.
       April H. Foley, of New York, to be First Vice President of 
     the Export-Import Bank of the United States for the remainder 
     of the term expiring January 20, 2005.
