  NOMINATION OF DORRANCE SMITH TO BE AN ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF DEFENSE

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the next nomination.
  The legislative clerk read the nomination of Dorrance Smith, of 
Virginia, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense.
