                     EXTENSION OF MORNING BUSINESS

Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the period of
morning business be extended until 6:30 p.m. tonight with Senators
allowed to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
Of course, the Senators are always very cooperative. If, in fact,
there is something that Senator McConnell and I have been able to work
out, then we will ask that the person be interrupted and we will try to
move forward with a unanimous consent agreement.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
Mr. REID. I note the absence of a quorum.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will call the roll.
The legislative clerk proceeded to call the roll.
Mr. BAUCUS. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the order for
the quorum call be rescinded.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
