                   AMENDMENTS SUBMITTED AND PROPOSED

       SA 1. Mr. UDALL of New Mexico proposed an amendment to the 
     resolution S. Res. 10, to improve the debate and 
     consideration of legislative matters and nominations in the 
     Senate.
       SA 2. Mr. MERKLEY (for himself and Mr. Begich) proposed an 
     amendment to the resolution S. Res. 21, to amend the Standing 
     Rules of the Senate to provide procedures for extended 
     debate.
