Report Filed: A report was filed on April 7, 2017 as follows:
H. Res. 235, directing the Secretary of Homeland Security to transmit certain documents to the House of Representatives relating to the Department of Homeland Security's research, integration, and analysis activities relating to Russian Government interference in the elections for Federal office held in 2016; adversely (H. Rept. 115–89).
Speaker: Read a letter from the Speaker wherein he appointed Representative Simpson to act as Speaker pro tempore for today.
Board of Directors of the Office of Compliance--Reappointment: The Chair announced on behalf of the Speaker and Minority Leader of the House and the Majority and Minority Leaders of the Senate, the joint reappointment on April 7, 2017 of Ms. Barbara Childs Wallace of Ridgeland, Mississippi, Chair, for a term of four years, Mr. Alan V. Friedman of Los Angeles, California, for a term of three years, and Ms. Susan S. Robfogel of Rochester, New York, for a term of four years, to the Board of Directors of the Office of Compliance.
