  Mr. FRELINGHUYSEN. Mr. Speaker, I ask unanimous consent that the 
Committee on Appropriations be discharged from further consideration of 
the joint resolution (H.J. Res. 143) making further continuing 
appropriations for fiscal year 2019, and for other purposes, and ask 
for its immediate consideration in the House.
  The Clerk read the title of the joint resolution.
  The SPEAKER. Is there objection to the request of the gentleman from 
New Jersey?
  There was no objection.
  The text of the joint resolution is as follows:

                             H.J. Res. 143

       Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
     United States of America in Congress assembled, That division 
     C of Public Law 115-245 is amended--
       (1) by striking the date specified in section 105(3) and 
     inserting ``December 21, 2018''; and
       (2) by adding at the end (before the short title) the 
       ``Sec. 136.  Sections 1309(a) and 1319 of the National 
     Flood Insurance Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. 4016(a) and 4026) 
     shall be applied by substituting the date specified in 
     section 105(3) of this Act for `December 7, 2018'.''.

  The joint resolution was ordered to be engrossed and read a third 
time, was read the third time, and passed, and a motion to reconsider 
was laid on the table.
