Reports Filed: Reports were filed today as follows:
H.R. 3179, to require the appropriate Federal banking agencies, when issuing certain prudential regulations that are substantively more stringent than a corresponding international prudential standard to publish the rationale for doing so and a cost-benefit analysis of the difference, and for other purposes (H. Rept. 115–620);
H.R. 4790, to amend the Volcker rule to give the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System sole rulemaking authority, to exclude community banks from the requirements of the Volcker rule, and for other purposes, with an amendment (H. Rept. 115–621);
Speaker: Read a letter from the Speaker wherein he appointed Representative Aderholt to act as Speaker pro tempore for today.
Guest Chaplain: The prayer was offered by the Guest Chaplain, Rev. Timothy Kesicki, S.J., Jesuit Conference, Washington, DC.
Women's Suffrage Centennial Commission--Appointment: The Chair announced the Speaker's appointment of the following individuals on the part of the House to the Women's Suffrage Centennial Commission: Ms. Rebecca Kleefisch of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and Ms. Heather Higgins of New York, New York.
