                        MESSAGES FROM THE HOUSE


                          Enrolled Bill Signed

  At 3:03 p.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the Speaker has 
signed the following enrolled bill:

       S. 24. An act to provide for the compensation of Federal 
     and other government employees affected by lapses in 
     appropriations.

  The enrolled bill was subsequently signed by the President pro 
tempore (Mr. Grassley).

  At 3:04 p.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mr. Novotny, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bills, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 221. An act to amend the State Department Basic 
     Authorities Act of 1956 to monitor and combat anti-Semitism 
     globally, and for other purposes.
       H.R. 266. An act making appropriations for the Department 
     of the Interior, environment, and related agencies for the 
     fiscal year ending September 30, 2019, and for other 
     purposes.
