                         MESSAGE FROM THE HOUSE

  At 10:08 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bills, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 116. An act to amend the Small Business Investment Act 
     of 1958 to increase the amount that certain banks and savings 
     associations may invest in small business investment 
     companies, subject to the approval of the appropriate Federal 
     banking agency, and for other purposes.
       H.R. 206. An act to amend the small business laws to create 
     certain requirements with respect to the SBIR and STRR 
     program, and for other purposes.
       H.R. 246. An act to amend the Small Business Act to require 
     senior procurement executives, procurement center 
     representatives, and the Office of Small and Disadvantaged 
     Business Utilization to assist small business concerns 
     participating in the Small Business Innovation Research 
     Program and the Small Business Technology Transfer Program, 
     and for other purposes.
       H.R. 430. An act to extend the program of block grants to 
     States for temporary assistance for needy families and 
     related programs through June 30, 2019.
