       RESIGNATION AS MEMBER OF COMMITTEE ON EDUCATION AND LABOR

  The SPEAKER pro tempore laid before the House the following 
resignation as a member of the Committee on Education and Labor:

                                     House of Representatives,

                                 Washington, DC, January 23, 2019.
     Hon. Nancy Pelosi,
     Speaker of the House,
     Washington, DC.
       Dear Speaker Pelosi, I hereby resign effective January 23, 
     2019 as a member of the House Committee on Education and 
     Labor.
       It has been my sincere privilege to serve on the Committee 
     during the 115th Congress. I want to thank you Madame Leader 
     and Chairman Scott for the opportunity to represent my 
     constituents in New York's 13th Congressional District and my 
     colleagues on the Committee for their hard work and support.
