     RECOGNIZING THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE AMERICAN FARM BUREAU 
                               FEDERATION

  Mr. McCONNELL. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the consideration of S. Res. 39, submitted earlier today.

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.

  The senior assistant bill clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 39) recognizing the 100th anniversary 
     of the American Farm Bureau Federation and celebrating the 
     long history of the American Farm Bureau Federation 
     representing the farmers of the United States.

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Is there objection to proceeding to the 
measure?

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
resolution.

  Mr. McCONNELL. I ask unanimous consent that the resolution be agreed 
to, that the preamble be agreed to, and that the motions to reconsider 
be considered made and laid upon the table with no intervening action 
or debate.

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.

  The resolution (S. Res. 39) was agreed to.

  The preamble was agreed to.
