                        MESSAGES FROM THE HOUSE

  At 10:01 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mr. Novotny, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bill, without amendment:

       S. 47. An act to provide for the management of the natural 
     resources of the United States, and for other purposes.

  The message further announced that the House has passed the following 
joint resolution, in which it requests the concurrence of the Senate:

       H.J. Res. 46. Joint resolution relating to a national 
     emergency declared by the President on February 15, 2019.

  The message also announced that the House has agreed to the following 
concurrent resolution, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H. Con. Res. 21. Concurrent resolution directing the 
     Secretary of the Senate to make a correction in the 
     enrollment of the bill S. 47.

  At 11:15 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mr. Novotny, one of its reading clerks, announced that pursuant to 
22 U.S.C. 6913, and the order of the House of January 3, 2019, the 
Speaker appoints the following Member on the part of the House of 
Representatives to the Congressional-Executive Commission on the 
People's Republic of China: Mr. McGovern of Massachusetts, Chair.
  The message further announced that pursuant to section 2 of the 
Migratory Bird Conservation Act (16 U.S.C. 715a), and the order of the 
House of January 3, 2019, the Speaker appoints the following Member on 
the part of the House of Representatives to the Migratory Bird 
Conservation Commission: Mr. Thompson of California.
