                 MEASURE PLACED ON THE CALENDAR--S. 729

  Mr. BOOZMAN. Mr. President, I understand that there is a bill at the 
desk that is due for a second reading.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Senator is correct.
  The clerk will read the title of the bill for the second time.
  The bill clerk read as follows:

       A bill (S. 729) to prohibit the use of funds to Federal 
     agencies to establish a panel, task force, advisory 
     committee, or other effort to challenge the scientific 
     consensus on climate change, and for other purposes.

  Mr. BOOZMAN. In order to place the bill on the calendar under the 
provisions of rule XIV, I object to further proceedings.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The objection having been heard, the bill will 
be placed on the calendar.
