                               MEMORIALS

  Under clause 3 of rule XII,

       11. The SPEAKER presented a memorial of the Senate of the 
     State of South Dakota, relative to Senate Concurrent 
     Resolution No. 8, requesting Congress to lawfully change the 
     Medicaid eligibility requirements to give states the option 
     to provide Medicaid services to persons in jail pending 
     disposition; which was referred to the Committee on Energy 
     and Commerce.
