                            PETITIONS, ETC.

  Under clause 3 of rule XII, petitions and papers were laid on the 
clerk's desk and referred as follows:

       10. The SPEAKER presented a petition of the Town Commission 
     of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, FL, relative to Resolution No. 
     2019-07, urging the Florida Legislature and the Florida 
     Governor to oppose legislative changes prohibiting the local 
     regulation of vacation rentals; providing direction to town 
     officials; providing for an effective date; to the Committee 
     on Financial Services.
       11. Also, a petition of the City Council of Portland, ME, 
     relative to a Resolution calling upon the United States 
     Congress to propose a Constitutional Amendment to restore 
     fair elections; to the Committee on the Judiciary.
