  Under clause 3 of rule XII,

       16. The SPEAKER presented a petition of City of Whitesboro, 
     TX, relative to Resolution 8659, respectfully urging the 
     Congress of the United States to designate the Butterfield 
     Overland Trail as a National Historic Trail; which was 
     referred to the Committee on Natural Resources.
