                              APPOINTMENT

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. For the information of the Senate, the Chair 
makes the following announcement:
  The President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House 
of Representatives, pursuant to the provisions of Section 201(a)(2) of 
the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, have appointed Dr. Phillip Swagel 
as Director of the Congressional Budget Office, effective June 3, 2019, 
for the term expiring January 3, 2023.
