                         MESSAGE FROM THE HOUSE

  At 10:18 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bill, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 1500. An act to require the Consumer Financial 
     Protection Bureau to meet its statutory purpose, and for 
     other purposes.

  The message further announced that the House has agreed to the 
following concurrent resolutions, without amendment:

       S. Con. Res. 6. Concurrent resolution authorizing the 
     printing of a commemorative document in memory of the late 
     President of the United States, George Herbert Walker Bush.
       S. Con. Res. 14. Concurrent resolution authorizing the use 
     of Emancipation Hall in the Capitol Visitor Center for an 
     event to celebrate the birthday of King Kamehameha I.
