MOMENT OF SILENCE HONORING VICTIMS OF GUN VIOLENCE IN VIRGINIA BEACH,
                                VIRGINIA

(Mrs. LURIA asked and was given permission to address the House for 1
minute.)
Mrs. LURIA. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to remember and honor the 12
wonderful people whose lives ended far too soon in Friday's mass
shooting in Virginia Beach.
Our city, our Commonwealth, and our Nation grieve.
Now is the time for healing, coming together, and determining ways to
prevent this kind of tragedy from ever happening again.
Mr. Speaker, I ask my House colleagues to please join me in a moment
of silence for those who lost their lives.
