                         MESSAGE FROM THE HOUSE

  At 3:02 p.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mr. Novotny, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bills, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 988. An act to provide for a study by the National 
     Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine examining 
     the impact of ocean acidification and other stressors in 
     estuarine environments.
       H.R. 1237. An act to amend the Federal Ocean Acidification 
     Research and Monitoring Act of 2009 to establish an Ocean 
     Acidification Advisory Board, to expand and improve the 
     research on Ocean Acidification and Coastal Acidification, to 
     establish and maintain a data archive system for Ocean 
     Acidification data and Coastal Acidification data, and for 
     other purposes.
       H.R. 1716. An act to direct the Secretary of Commerce, 
     acting through the Administrator of the National Oceanic and 
     Atmospheric Administration, to conduct coastal community 
     vulnerability assessments related to ocean acidification, and 
     for other purposes.
       H.R. 1921. An act to authorize Federal agencies to 
     establish prize competitions for innovation or adaptation 
     management development relating to ocean acidification.
