                        MESSAGES FROM THE HOUSE

  At 10:32 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bill, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 3351. An act making appropriations for financial 
     services and general government for the fiscal year ending 
     September 30, 2020, and for other purposes.

  The message also announced that pursuant to 46 U.S.C. 51312(b), and 
the order of the House of January 3, 2019, the Speaker appoints the 
following Member on the part of the House of Representatives to the 
Board of Visitors to the United States Merchant Marine Academy: Mr. 
King of New York.

  At 6:01 p.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mr. Novotny, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
agreed to the amendment of the Senate to the bill (H.R. 3401) making 
emergency supplemental appropriations for the fiscal year ending 
September 30, 2019, and for other purposes.


                          Enrolled Bill Signed

  At 6:06 p.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the Speaker pro 
tempore (Mr. Scott) has signed the following enrolled bill:

       H.R. 3401. An act making emergency supplemental 
     appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2019, 
     and for other purposes.

  The enrolled bill was subsequently signed by the Acting President pro 
tempore (Mr. McConnell).
