                          SENATE BILL REFERRED

  A bill of the Senate of the following title was taken from the 
Speaker's table and, under the rule, referred as follows:

       S. 178. An act to condemn gross human rights violations of 
     ethnic Turkic Muslims in Xinjiang, and calling for an end to 
     arbitrary detention, torture, and harassment of these 
     communities inside and outside China; to the Committee on 
     Foreign Affairs; in addition, to the Permanent Select 
     Committee on Intelligence; and to the Committee on the 
     Judiciary for a period to be subsequently determined by the 
     Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as 
     fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
