                            PETITIONS, ETC.

  Under clause 3 of rule XII, petitions and papers were laid on the 
clerk's desk and referred as follows:

       46. The SPEAKER presented a petition of the City Commission 
     of Coral Springs, FL, relative to Resolution 2019-047, 
     Supporting the Passage of H.R. 3665 -- ``School Violence 
     Prevention and Mitigation Act of 2019'' which establishes a 
     grant program to encourage schools to conduct independent 
     facility security risk assessments and make hard security 
     improvements and urges its passage; to the Committee on the 
     Judiciary.
       47. Also, a petition of the City Commission of Coral 
     Springs, FL, relative to Resolution 2019-049, urging the 
     United States Congress and the Florida Legislature to enact 
     laws banning assault style weapons, high capacity magazines, 
     bullets and ammunition for these types of weapons, armor-
     piercing concealed weapons, and any modification or apparel 
     which make a weapon more deadly; to the Committee on the 
     Judiciary.
       48. Also, a petition of Mr. Gregory D. Watson, a citizen of 
     Austin, TX, relative to urging Congress to enact legislation 
     which would divest Federal District Courts, and Federal 
     Circuit Appeals Courts, from having the power to issue 
     injunctions of nationwide application; to the Committee on 
     the Judiciary.
       49. Also, a petition of the City Commission of Coral 
     Springs, FL, relative to Resolution 2019-048, supporting the 
     passage of H.R. 3714 to amend Title 18, United States Code, 
     to reauthorize and expand the national threat assessment 
     center of the Department of Homeland Security; jointly to the 
     Committees on the Judiciary and Education and Labor.
