                               MEMORIALS

  Under clause 3 of rule XII, memorials were presented and referred as 
follows:

       147. The SPEAKER presented a memorial of the Legislature of 
     the State of Texas, relative to Senate Concurrent Resolution 
     No. 59, respectfully urging the president of the United 
     States to designate a state funeral for the last surviving 
     Medal of Honor recipient from World War II; which was 
     referred to the Committee on Armed Services.
       148. Also, a memorial of the Legislature of the State of 
     Texas, relative to House Concurrent Resolution No. 74, 
     respectfully urging the Unites States Congress to enact H.R. 
     613/S. 165, the TRICARE Reserve Select Improvement Act; which 
     was referred to the Committee on Armed Services.
       149. Also, a memorial of the Legislature of the State of 
     Texas, relative to House Concurrent Resolution No. 19, 
     respectfully urging the United States Congress to repeal the 
     Government Pension Offset and the Windfall Elimination 
     Provision of the Social Security Act; which was referred to 
     the Committee on Ways and Means.
