     Hon. Nancy Pelosi,

Dear Speaker Pelosi: I was honored to return to serve on
the Rules Committee at the start of the 116th Congress. It
has been my privilege to work alongside Chairman McGovern,
Ranking Member Cole, and the hardworking members that work so
hard to bring serious legislation and policy to the House
     Floor.
Respectfully, I am writing to tender my resignation as a
member of the Rules Committee, effective February 13, 2019.
Thank you for this opportunity and to my colleagues on the
Committee for their hard work and friendship.
           Sincerely,
                                                     Doris Matsui,
                                               Member of Congress.
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Without objection, the resignation is
accepted.
  There was no objection.
