                         MESSAGE FROM THE HOUSE

  At 10:20 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bills, without amendment:

       S. 744. An act to amend section 175b of title 18, United 
     States Code, to correct a scrivener's error.
       S. 998. An act to amend the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe 
     Streets Act of 1968 to expand support for police officer 
     family services, stress reduction, and suicide prevention, 
     and for other purposes.

  The message also announced that the House has passed the following 
bills, in which it requests the concurrence of the Senate:

       H.R. 677. An act to amend gendered terms in Federal law 
     relating to the President and the President's spouse.
       H.R. 1044. An act to amend the Immigration and Nationality 
     Act to eliminate the per-country numerical limitation for 
     employment-based immigrants, to increase the per-country 
     numerical limitation for family-sponsored immigrants, and for 
     other purposes.
       H.R. 1569. An act to amend title 28, United States Code, to 
     add Flagstaff and Yuma to the list of locations in which 
     court shall be held in the judicial district for the State of 
     Arizona.
