Reports Filed: Reports were filed today as follows:
H.R. 397, to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to create a Pension Rehabilitation Trust Fund, to establish a Pension Rehabilitation Administration within the Department of the Treasury to make loans to multiemployer defined benefit plans, and for other purposes, with an amendment (H. Rept. 116–159, Part 2); and
H.R. 2203, to increase transparency, accountability, and community engagement within the Department of Homeland Security, provide independent oversight of border security activities, improve training for agents and officers of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and for other purposes, with an amendment (H. Rept. 116–163, Part 1).
Speaker: Read a letter from the Speaker wherein she appointed Representative DeGette to act as Speaker pro tempore for today.

National Council on Disability-Appointment: Read a letter from Representative McCarthy, Minority Leader, in which he appointed the following member to the National Council on Disability: Mr. Jim Baldwin, Bakersfield, California.
