COMMENDING THE WORK OF THE SINDHI FOUNDATION AND TASSC INTERNATIONAL

                                 ______

                            HON. PETE OLSON

                                of texas

                    in the house of representatives

                       Friday, September 13, 2019

Mr. OLSON. Madam Speaker, I rise today to acknowledge the important
work of the Sindhi Foundation and TASSC International. They are tearing
down the barriers that sow division between cultures, fight
discrimination and prejudice, and shine a light on those countries who
target minorities for kidnapping, torture, and death.
Sindhis in Pakistan, Kurds in the Middle East, Tamils in Sri Lanka,
Uyghurs in China and others have been lost to ``enforced
disappearances,'' removed from their families and erased from the
sunlight of society. This terrifying and barbaric practice must end.
The Sindhi Foundation and TASSC International are doing valiant work
highlighting this heinousness. I thank them for their continued efforts
to combat injustice, promote equity and provide healing to hurt
families around the world.
