  Mrs. DINGELL. Madam Speaker, I rise today to recognize Anna Frushour 
as she is appointed to the 14A District Court judge bench. Her 
dedication to our community is worthy of commendation.
  Anna Frushour is a well-respected professional whose years of legal 
experience make her a qualified addition to the District Court. 
Frushour is an accomplished attorney who is a partner at Feiser & 
Frushour, a law firm that contracts with Ann Arbor to represent 
criminal defendants for misdemeanors, and is a private practice 
attorney with Frushour Law. Moreover, she has served as assigned 
defense counsel for the Mental Health Court, Veteran's Treatment Court, 
Sobriety Court, and Street Outreach courts in Washtenaw County. 
Frushour earned her Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University and 
received her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
  On December 17, 2019, Governor Gretchen Whitmer appointed Anna 
Frushour to the 14A District Court, and we celebrate her investiture 
today. Frushour will be an exemplary District Court judge, exemplified 
through her positive reputation in the community, diligent work ethic, 
and legal expertise. Throughout all of her professional pursuits, 
Frushour has been regarded as a fair, dedicated, and humble leader who 
strives for excellence. Her commitment to the law and her entire 
community will enable all to feel that they are heard, respected, and 
treated with dignity in her courtroom.

  Madam Speaker, I ask my colleagues to join me in honoring Anna 
Frushour. Her appointment to the bench is a testament to her hard work, 
dedication, and commitment to the law. I am grateful for her service 
and wish her continued success in the years ahead.
