                                 PRAYER

  The Chaplain, the Reverend Patrick J. Conroy, offered the following 
prayer:
  Merciful God, thank You for giving us another day.
  Today is a travel day for the majority of Members. They return to the 
Capitol to consider coronavirus assistance to America's citizens, 
businesses, and communities. Keep them safe in their travel from the 
dangers of infection.
  Continue to give wisdom and good judgment to America's citizens, and 
inspire the governors of this country to fashion wise policies.
  There are many disagreements in our civic discourse. May all be 
mindful of the responsibilities of good citizenship.
  During these times, bless those whose life's work is in service to 
public safety, be it police, medical professionals, or those producing 
and delivering our daily necessities.
  May everything done this day be for Your greater honor and glory.
  Amen.
