              RESIGNATION AS MEMBER OF COMMITTEE ON RULES

  The SPEAKER pro tempore laid before the House the following 
resignation as a member of the Committee on Rules:

       Dear Speaker Pelosi: I write to request a leave of absence 
     from serving on the House Rules Committee while I recover 
     from non-COVID related pneumonia. I appreciate your support 
     during this time, and look forward to returning as soon as 
     possible.
