                                 PRAYER

  The Chaplain, the Reverend Patrick J. Conroy, offered the following 
prayer:
  Compassionate and merciful God, thank You for giving us another day.
  As Members return and are making their way back to the Capitol, we 
ask that You keep them safe from infection as they pass through areas 
of relatively high social contact.
  Bless the men and women whose work in the travel industry places them 
at heightened risk during this pandemic. May all who travel these days 
be mindful of the safety of all around them in their use of face masks, 
and other cautions, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.
  May everything done today and in the days to come be for Your greater 
honor and glory.
  Amen.
