                         MESSAGE FROM THE HOUSE


               Enrolled Bill and Joint Resolution Signed

  At 11:43 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the Speaker has 
signed the following enrolled bill and joint resolution:

       H.R. 943. An act to authorize the Director of the United 
     States Holocaust Memorial Museum to support Holocaust 
     education programs, and for other purposes.
       H.J. Res. 76. Joint resolution providing for congressional 
     disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, 
     of the rule submitted by the Department of Education relating 
     to ``Borrower Defense Institutional Accountability''.

  The enrolled bill and joint resolution were subsequently signed by 
the President pro tempore (Mr. Grassley).
