PROMOTING MINORITY HEALTH AWARENESS AND SUPPORTING THE GOALS AND IDEALS 
            OF NATIONAL MINORITY HEALTH MONTH IN APRIL 2020

  Mr. PORTMAN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the immediate consideration of S. Res. 591, which was 
submitted earlier today.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 591) promoting minority health 
     awareness and supporting the goals and ideals of National 
     Minority Health Month in April 2020, which include bringing 
     attention to the health disparities faced by minority 
     populations of the United States such as American Indians, 
     Alaska Natives, Asian Americans, African Americans, 
     Hispanics, and Native Hawaiians or other Pacific Islanders.

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Is there objection to proceeding to the 
measure?
  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
resolution.
  Mr. PORTMAN. I further ask that the resolution be agreed to, the 
preamble be agreed to, and the motions to reconsider be considered made 
and laid upon the table with no intervening action or debate.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The resolution (S. Res. 591) was agreed to.
  The preamble was agreed to.
