  IMPROVING SOCIAL SECURITY'S SERVICE TO VICTIMS OF IDENTITY THEFT ACT

  Mr. GARDNER. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the 
Committee on Finance be discharged from further consideration of S. 
3731 and the Senate proceed to its immediate consideration.

  The bill clerk read as follows:

       A bill (S. 3731) to amend title VII of the Social Security 
     Act to provide for a single point of contact at the Social 
     Security Administration for individuals who are victims of 
     identity theft.

  There being no objection, the committee was discharged and the Senate 
proceeded to consider the bill.
