                                 PRAYER

The Chaplain, the Reverend Patrick J. Conroy, offered the following
prayer:
Loving God, Father of us all, thank You for giving us another day.
As Congress prepares to consider bills on police reform, we turn to
You to ask Your inspiration of all Members. May each enter into the
deliberations of the days and weeks to come to forge changes that will
benefit police departments and the communities they serve nationwide.
The coronavirus continues to spread in various parts of the country,
while others continue to lower infection rates and hospitalizations.
Bless those who suffer with COVID-19 with good health and good care.
We continue to thank You for the giftedness and perseverance of
health professionals who care for the sick and those who labor to find
treatments and cures.
Bless us all this day, and every day, and may all that we do be for
Your greater honor and glory.
  Amen.
