  The following petitions and memorials were laid before the Senate and 
were referred or ordered to lie on the table as indicated:

       POM-208. A resolution adopted by the Board of Supervisors 
     of the City and County of San Francisco, California, urging 
     the United States Congress to pass Emergency Earned Income 
     Tax Credit; to the Committee on Finance.
       POM-209. A resolution adopted by the Board of Supervisors 
     of the City and County of San Francisco, California, urging 
     the United States Congress to pass H.R. 40 (Commission to 
     Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans 
     Act) and implement a federal commission to study and develop 
     reparations proposals for the African American Act; to the 
     Committee on the Judiciary
